One of those analysts is Rob Stone, who voiced his opinion on <em>The Triple Option<\/em> with Urban Meyer and Mark Ingram.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">DON\u2019T CALL YOUR PLAYERS AN IDIOT \u203c\ufe0f Kirby Smart\u2019s actions got <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RobStoneONFOX?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RobStoneONFOX<\/a> FIRED UP <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GhO9rV0iND\">pic.twitter.com\/GhO9rV0iND<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Triple Option (@3xOptionShow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/3xOptionShow\/status\/1857081276404003184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 14, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I thought Coach (Meyer), particularly in your industry, you praise in public and you criticize in private,&#8221; Stone said. &#8220;Keep that internally, you don&#8217;t need to throw your player under the bus. Calling your player an idiot is b.s. That is bush-league. That is JV and coach Smart is way above it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Smart did come out on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saturdaydownsouth.com\/georgia-football\/kirby-smart-admits-he-was-wrong-to-call-georgia-db-jake-pope-an-idiot\/\">Wednesday and said he regretted using those words<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t like to comment on the internal stuff going on inside. He did talk to the team, did a great job. I will say I should not have called the kid an idiot,\u201d Smart admitted at his press conference. \u201cThat\u2019s a mistake by me. I appreciate Jake. He is a great kid, he works really hard, he\u2019s a team player. I think he knows it was an emotional mistake and he told the team that. We appreciate the way he handled it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Georgia faces Tennessee on Saturday in a huge game.
