Golden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saturdaydownsouth.com\/florida-football\/todd-golden-releases-statement-on-sexual-harassment-accusations\/\">addressed that report on Saturday in a statement<\/a> and said he was engaged with an attorney about a potential defamation suit.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday night, Florida issued a brief statement confirming Golden&#8217;s status to begin the week. According to that statement, Golden&#8217;s status as the head basketball coach &#8220;has not changed&#8221; at this point in time.<\/p>\n<p>Florida will face Grambling in a nonconference matchup Monday night, and Golden will coach the Gators in that game.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Update from Gainesville: &#8220;Todd Golden\u2019s status as UF men\u2019s basketball coach has not changed,&#8221; according to a University Athletic Association spokesperson. Golden will coach Monday night&#8217;s game vs. Grambling State.
