(Rival Mississippi State started its program 2 years later in 1895.)<\/p>\n<p>The Rebels were a founding member of the SEC in 1932. Over the years, they&#8217;ve won 3 national titles, in 1959, 1960 and 1962. They&#8217;ve won the SEC title 6 times, most recently in 1963.<\/p>\n<p>Ole Miss has never had a Heisman Trophy winner, but did produce a No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick. That was Eli Manning back in 2004. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers, but didn&#8217;t want to play for them, so a draft night trade sent him to the New York Giants, with the Chargers landing Philip Rivers.
